SUMMARY:Clean Coasts Roadshow in Galway City
DESCRIPTION:Clean Coasts are delighted to announce the Clean Coasts Roadshow which will be running at various locations arund the coast of Ireland. It aims to bring together all those with an interest in protecting their local beaches\, seas and marine life. \nThe Galway Stop will take place on Wednesday 4th March at NUI Galway (room TBC) from 6:30pm. A flavour of some of the speakers: \n\nDan Clabby of Consrervation Volunteers Galway and winner of the Ocean Hero Volunteer of the Year Award\nSeán Lynch working on his M.Sc. in Coastal and Marine Environments at NUIG\nGalway Atlantaquaria\nHeidi Acampora a PhD student at GMIT about her research based on the ingestion of plastics by seabirds\nBeckey-Finn Britton of Clean Coasts\nAmy Lusher about her research on microplastics\n\nPlease RSVP via Eventbrite \nNote: \nShould you need directions\, the Martin Ryan Building is located near the Cathedral entrance to the college and is marked on the following Google Map: https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=z8tmo0RbZd00.klYyzWHNRSK0.
