DESCRIPTION:NUIG Climate Congress 2015\nClean Coasts will have a stall at the event and Clean Coasts officer for Galway & Clare\, Beckey-Finn Britton\, will be attending the first NUI Galway Climate Congress. Please come along and find out more about the Clean Coasts Programme and how to get involved. It is a completely student led event and will include: \n(i) a showcase of climate related NGOs and organizations (11:00 to 16:00)\n(ii) Speaker Presentations (12:00 to 16:00)\n(iii) an inter-varsities debate on climate change and human health in collaboration with the Irish Forum for Global Health (18:00 to 20:00) \nSpeakers Included are: \nDr. Tara Shine\, Independent Expert and Special Adviser to the Mary Robinson Foundation will give a talk on the recent climate change negotiations\, the new climate agreement\, the link to the Sustainable development goals and climate justice. \nIan Lumley from An Taisce will discuss the climate change and food production from an Irish perspective\, what can or should Ireland contribute? \nCarla Sarrouy\, Senior Research Technician at Warwick Crop Centre gives a talk on her work concerning food security in Senegal \nFor more information visit the Facebook event.
