DESCRIPTION:Celebrate Ireland’s spectacular coastline by getting involved in Coca-Cola Clean Coasts Week 2017. The week runs from June 2nd – 11th and there are many ways for you to get involved. \n \n\n\n\n\nREGISTER FOR CLEAN COASTS WEEK\n \n\n\n\n\nWe have all seen the evidence of marine litter along our coastline so for all you beach lovers out there it was an opportunity to do something positive to combat the problem and also raise awareness about the issue. People can create their own beach clean event or participate in one. Every piece of litter removed from the coast is a piece of litter that won’t pollute our oceans or harm wildlife. People can join us in celebration by attending some of the free coastal celebration events that take place around the country as well.

DESCRIPTION:Together with one of our local Clean Coasts groups\, we will be running a practical marram grass planting workshop at Ballinskelligs beach in Kerry on Thursday 8th June as part of World Oceans Day. It will give those attending a full understanding of how the process is done and also tackle dune erosion at the beach.
