DESCRIPTION:Celebrate Ireland’s spectacular coastline by getting involved in Coca-Cola Clean Coasts Week 2017. The week runs from June 2nd – 11th and there are many ways for you to get involved. \n \n\n\n\n\nREGISTER FOR CLEAN COASTS WEEK\n \n\n\n\n\nWe have all seen the evidence of marine litter along our coastline so for all you beach lovers out there it was an opportunity to do something positive to combat the problem and also raise awareness about the issue. People can create their own beach clean event or participate in one. Every piece of litter removed from the coast is a piece of litter that won’t pollute our oceans or harm wildlife. People can join us in celebration by attending some of the free coastal celebration events that take place around the country as well.

This sand trapping grass can not only help dune systems maintain their positions but reduce blowouts and consolidate areas of loose sands. This practical training workshop will develop skills around; when and how to transplant\, sources of supply\, correct technique and spacing considerations. DESCRIPTION:Coca-Cola Clean Coasts Week is taking place from 2nd to 11th June all over Ireland. Join us by registering your beach clean on Clean Coasts website\, and receive your free Beach Clean pack – http://cleancoasts.org/our-initiatives/clean-coasts-week/ \nEach year millions of tonnes of marine litter enter our seas and oceans\, resulting in environmental\, economic\, health and aesthetic challenges.  Clean Coasts are inviting volunteers to join this coastal clean-up helping remove marine litter from our beautiful coastline and in turn protecting our coastal habitats and marine life. \nIn 2016\, over 140 events were organise as part of Coca-Cola Clean Coasts Week\, which included beach cleans\, wildlife/marine litter talks\, an open air film screening and yoga on the beach. We are currently planning many coastal celebration events to run alongside beach cleans throughout the country. A calendar of coastal celebration events for Coca-Cola Clean Coasts Week 2017 will be added to the webpage.

DESCRIPTION:We are delighted to be holding the Clean Coasts Symposium & Ocean Hero Awards on 1st December in The Westin Hotel Dublin. \nThe presence of marine litter in our oceans is a global concern that requires action.  Adequate measures are needed to address the impacts of litter in the marine environment both at sea and on land whereby public awareness and community action plays a vital role. The Clean Coasts Symposium will bring together key stakeholders in the area of marine litter such as coastal communities\, NGOs\, tourism bodies\, the science community\, business and the fishing industry.  \nClean Coasts will be celebrating the 10th year of the annual Ocean Hero Awards at the event. DESCRIPTION:Celebrate Ireland’s spectacular coastline by getting involved in Coca-Cola Clean Coasts Week 2015. The week runs from May 6th – 15th May and there are many ways for you to get involved. See the Coca-Cola Clean Coasts week page for more details. \nThe Clean Coasts team will be attending as many beach cleans in their region as possible as well as organising Coastal Celebration events for local coastal communities. \nWe have all seen the evidence of marine litter along our coastline so for all you beach lovers out there here’s an opportunity to do something positive to combat the problem and also raise awareness about the issue. Why not create your own beach clean event or participate in one. Every piece of litter removed from the coast is a piece of litter that won’t pollute our oceans or harm wildlife.
