In order to ensure the health and safety of our communities and future generations\, it’s imperative that we take the responsibility to care for the ocean as it cares for us.\nEveryone’s health depends on a clean\, productive ocean. Under the theme of Healthy oceans\, healthy planet\, we encourage our partners and friends to focus on what actions each of us can take to protect the ocean and safeguard vulnerable communities and places. SUMMARY:Seal Release and Beach Clean
DESCRIPTION:This event will be run in partnership with Seal Rescue Ireland and will take place at Morriscastle Strand\, Co. Wexford at 1pm. First we will ask attendee to take part in beach clean to ensure the beach is clean and safe for the seal release\, then we watch and the seal is released back to it’s natural habitat. Attendees will have the opportunity to speak with Clean Coasts and Seal Rescue to learn about seals\, the danger to seals and how we can protect wildlife along our coastline.
