DESCRIPTION:Our Ocean Hero Clean Coasts Group Northwest Coastal Cleanups will have a stand at the Pocket Film Festival\, Eclipse Cinemas Bundoran on Sunday 21st January. They will have information on their work as well as that of the Clean Coasts programme.  \nSeamus McGoldrick of our group\, iSurf Ireland\, and Murfs Surf School are organising a beach clean with a local refugee group. This will take place before the festival and they will carry out an art project that will be displayed at the cinema to highlight the issue of marine litter.

Then how about a fun swim on Sandycove Beach! \nDue to the enormous success and popularity in 2019\, First Fortnight Festival\, Clean Coasts in conjunction with Grown is hosting another Sea Swimming event which will take place on the 11th of January at 11am on Sandycove beach\, just a 10 minute walk from the Dart Station. \nSea swimming can have a positive impact on our mental and physical health. Why not take this opportunity to reconnect with yourself and enjoy the views of our beautiful coastline. \nWarm clothes are advised. We will be providing hot refreshments post-swim. Please bring your own cup as we want to try and make it a zero-waste event. DESCRIPTION:The Clean Coasts Roadshow is a series of talks and workshops taking place all along the coast of Ireland. \nAs part of the Wexford Clean Coasts Roadshow we are linking up with Hook Lighthouse Imbolc Festival taking place this weekend to mark the beginning of Spring in the beautiful location of Hook Lighthouse\, Co Wexford.\nAnnie Byrne Clean Coast Officer for Wexford will be speaking on Saturday afternoon at 2.30pm on the impacts of plastic on the marine environment.\nThe Hook Lighthouse Eco Sheriff will host a talk on Sustainability and recycling and share insights at the Hook Lighthouse Eco-Education Station. Weekend visitors to the lighthouse can enjoy local foods\, art workshops and St Bridget Cross making.
