Clean Coasts at Dublin Bay UNESCO Biosphere Conference

Clean Coasts Officer, Brendan O’Kane, will be attending at the Dublin Bay UNESCO Biosphere Conference: Connecting People And Nature on Wednesday 26th October at the University College Dublin, O’Brien Centre for Science (East), George Moore Lecture Theatre.
The conference will feature both international and local speakers who will give us insight into UNESCO’s World Network of Biosphere Reserves and what Biospheres stand for as well as highlighting the work that is being done by a wide range of stakeholders within Dublin Bay Biosphere. The conference will include sessions of talks on “Education for Sustainable Development” and “Conservation & Research” as well as parallel workshops on communication and engagement, access to funding and research networking.
