Join us for a beach clean in Ballyness, co. Doneagl on Sunday 5th July at 2pm. 

Here are some guidelines from Falcarragh Clean Coasts group who organised the event: 

Our first clean-up since the start of the Covid pandemic sees a few changes for our group and its volunteers ;
1. Please bring your own gloves if you have them, we will have disposable gloves and bags will be provided but you are welcome to bring your own.
2. Please DO NOT pick up any PPE ie gloves, masks etc. We have been strongly advised against this.
3. Social distancing guidelines should be observed at all times even though we are outdoors.
4. Please bring your own hand sanitiser.

Moreover:

• Keep a 2m distance from other people that do not live with you
• Do not collect any discarded PPE items or tissues
• Sanitise your hands before and after the beach clean and avoid touching your face
• Do not share your clean-up kit and wash it before and after you use it
• Can you bring the litter you collected at home to dispose of it correctly, as local authorities are under great pressure at the moment?
• Listen to instructions by your group leader. They will also provide you with Clean Coasts bags to use. 
• Keep a list of attendees – to aid contact tracing if needed
