Clean Coasts are delighted to announce the Clean Coasts Roadshow which will be running at various locations arund the coast of Ireland. It aims to bring together all those with an interest in protecting their local beaches, seas and marine life.

The Galway Stop will take place on Wednesday 4th March at NUI Galway (room TBC) from 6:30pm. A flavour of some of the speakers:

• Dan Clabby of Consrervation Volunteers Galway and winner of the Ocean Hero Volunteer of the Year Award
• Seán Lynch working on his M.Sc. in Coastal and Marine Environments at NUIG
• Galway Atlantaquaria
• Heidi Acampora a PhD student at GMIT about her research based on the ingestion of plastics by seabirds
• Beckey-Finn Britton of Clean Coasts
• Amy Lusher about her research on microplastics
