Clean Coasts officer for Galway, Beckey-Finn, will be attending the invite only workshop on freshwater microplastics entitled ‘Freshwater Microplastics: Risks and Impacts’. It is being organised by Marine and Freshwater Research Centre, GMIT.

Dr Anne Marie Mahon will present a keynote talk on her investigations to date on the scope, fate, risks and impacts of microplastic pollution in Irish freshwater systems.
