| FreeClean Coasts Officer for Sligo, Olivia, will be attending Sligo Volunteer Centre’s Headstart Expo on Tuesday 16th May at The Glasshouse Hotel, Sligo. She will be there to answer any questions you have and also encourage those attending to protect Ireland’s beaches, seas and marine life.

“Volunteering is a valuable way for people to network and gain experience to enhance career prospects. For one day only, Sligo Volunteer Centre is hosting the Headstart Expo filled with practical workshops, speakers and stands from local voluntary groups. This event is free and aimed at anyone interested in volunteering with a particular emphasis on job seekers which many of the talks/workshops are aimed at. CONNECT – You can drop in to the stands at any stage between 10am & 4pm. Stands will be held by local communinty/ charitable groups who are recruiting volunteers plus some local agencies of interest to job seekers (Get in touch if you’d like to host a stand!).
