School Clean Up

Sea swim as part of the First Fortnight Festivial
Looking for an exhilarating way to plunge into the New Year and shake off the post-holiday blues and turkey sandwiches? Then how about a fun swim on Sandycove Beach! Due to the enormous success and popularity in 2019, First Fortnight Festival, Clean Coasts in conjunction with Grown is hosting another Sea Swimming event which will take place on the 11th of January at 11am on Sandycove beach, just a 10 minute walk from the Dart Station. Sea swimming can have a positive impact on our mental and physical health. Why not take this opportunity to reconnect with yourself and enjoy the views of our beautiful coastline. Warm clothes are advised. We will be providing hot refreshments post-swim. Please bring your own cup as we want to try and make it a zero-waste event. If you do not want to swim, you are welcome to participate in a short beach clean and enjoy the good vibes. This event is proudly supported by Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council.

Co. Limerick Clean Coasts Roadshow
New Road Thomondgate New Road Thomondgate, Limerick, IrelandOur Roadshow is coming to County Limerick for a short nature walk followed by a clean up of the area. Thomondgate Nature Project, Living Limerick and Thomond Primary School are working with Limerick County Council to develop a derelict site in this area into a Wildlife area. All clean up equipment will be provided. Please bring appropriate clothing!
