This year the Co. Mayo Roadshow is taking place at The Grainne Uaile, Medlicott Street, Newport, Co. Mayo, on Thursday, January 30th @ 7pm. This year Clean Coasts are teaming up with BIM in Co. Mayo to highlight some of the great work being carried out by the local fishing community along the coastline. We will also be discussing how Clean Coasts groups can avail of grant assistance from the our grant scheme in 2020 and will hear from local Clean Coasts Group.

As part of the Wexford Clean Coasts Roadshow we are linking up with Hook Lighthouse Imbolc Festival taking place this weekend to mark the beginning of Spring in the beautiful location of Hook Lighthouse, Co Wexford.

The Dun Laoghaire Roadshow will take place on Wednesday 5th February at 6pm. We will talk about the impacts of plastic on the marine environment and of climate change on coastal heritage.

Join us for a Beach Clean at Ventry Beach, West Kerry on Sunday 9th February at 4pm.

In this Roadshow we will be discussing the impact of climate change on our coastline, talk about the Clean Coasts grant scheme in 2020 and we will hear from local Clean Coasts group ‘Annagry Tidy Towns’.

St Micheal School is undertaking a beach clean on Sandymount Strand on Saturday 15th February from 11:30 am.

Event organised by Youghal Clean Coasts Group. Meet at Front Strand at wall near the 4th breaker.

This year we will be discussing coastal erosion and microplastic in the marine environment. In addition we will be hearing from some of the many active Clean Coasts groups in Sligo. We will
also be informing Clean Coasts groups about how they can avail of grant assistance in 2020.

Malahide Clean Coasts Group is hosting a clean-up of Malahide beach and it will take on place on the 12th February from 11 am to 1 pm.

Our Co. Kerry Roadshow will take place at the Wetlands Centre, Tralee, Co. Kerry on Saturday, 22nd February 2020 at 11:30 am, with speakers from Irish Water, Kerry Co Co and Clean Coasts Ballynamona,

Brittas Bay SOUTH Car Park will be open for this event.

Clean Coasts are joining DCU Sustainable Living Society to screen their mini documentary series Plastic Oceans which they made in collaboration with the Riptide Movement!

Our Clean Coasts Co. Clare roadshow is taking place at Halla an Phoball, Church Street, Milltown Malbay on 26th February at 7:30 pm. Guests speakers will be Dr. Eugene Farrell from NUIG and Martha Farrell from Maharees Conservation Association.
